Mykolayiv Help (CF "FIVS") in partnership with Global Medic receives humanitarian aid from the Canada-Ukraine Foundation and The Ukrainian Canadian Congress. About 8,000 humanitarian aid kits were handed over and distributed in 1 month. Total weight is around 100 tons. For comparison, the weight of an average passenger plane is 40-50 tons.
These kits consist of food and hygiene products.
Humanitarian aid has been distributed to different parts of Ukraine: Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, the city of Kharkiv and several settlements in the East of Ukraine. Assistance in these areas is provided to people who have become victims of war, internally displaced persons, elderlies, large families and people with disabilities.
